Iceland Caves In?

Icelandic CrownApparently, the “solution” to the financial crisis in Iceland is EU membership, as the BBC reports. Is Frankfurt fiat money better? Where will this world end?

On Friday, September 13 I went to mass with hundreds of thousands of French to the Esplanade des Invalides in Paris. We were attracted by the powerful figure of HH Pope Benedict XVI; he gave us a beautiful and deep speech the night before when he prayed the Vespers at Notre Dame de Paris. A joyful and quite religious multitude started walking early in the morning to find a right place for the mass. When the mass began most sang old anthems of Our Glorious Church, thousands of boy scouts and girl scouts and other youngsters showed their support for the Vicar of Christ. This immense crowd was formed by entire families, from all classes of French society, was possible to see members of the oldest French nobility, which belong to the Royal Orders of the Holy Ghost, the Golden Fleece, Malta, the Saint Sepulchre and others, to the most simple church goers of France. Le Monde, which is not a pro Catholic paper estimated in around 350,000 people gathered in that beautiful morning. La Croix said that they were 400,000 or even more. But something in common has everybody there, faith, hope and love to the Church. La fille ainée de l’Eglise, the eldest daughter of the Church was back in Paris, and afterwards in Lourdes. His Holiness looked quite happy and proud about the success of this mass, spoken in French and Latin. The beautiful Kyrie, the Angelus, the Pater Noster and the Salve Regina, sang in the Gregorian way united the entire crowd, and for communion thousands of priests and bishops were there. I had fallen into my knees and received the holy sacrament with joy and reverence to Our Lord. France is going through a period of renaissance of their Christian values, so much damaged by the horrendous revolution and two centuries of agnostic propaganda and with thousands of Catholics who paid with their live their attachment to our Church. God bless our martyrs and thanks douce France for your beautiful example, which hardly is seen in the rest of Europe. Speaking about the Dual Monarchy, I share with you that was a tragedy what was done by masons like Clemenceau, David Lloyd George and the brainless Wilson, thanks to all of them we had eighty years of Bolshevism, Nazism and all perverted ideologies, which were originated by the French Terror. Our last Emperor and King was a brave man, a holy one, and as such was recognized by Pope John Paul II when he beatified this unique monarch.

Dear Sir:

Thank you for your comment and your support. It is much appreciated.

I would also appreciate if you posted your comment on a more relevant post.

E.g., this comment of yours is far more relevant to the post on the declaration of war against Austria-Hungary than to this post on Iceland and the financial crisis.

Thank you!
