Quote of the Month

Says Mr. Donald John Trump:

We went from mistakes in Iraq to Egypt to Libya, to President Obama’s line in the sand in Syria. Each of these actions have helped to throw the region into chaos and gave ISIS the space it needs to grow and prosper. Very bad. It all began with a dangerous idea that we could make western democracies out of countries that had no experience or interests in becoming a western democracy.

We tore up what institutions they had and then were surprised at what we unleashed.

The Author of Don Quixote

Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra: Don Quixote
Four centuries ago today, the author of Don Quixote, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, passed away.

It is telling that Google today celebrates the so-called Earth Day instead of one of Western civilization's greatest writers.

Google: Earth Day 2016

In Don Quixote, Cervantes makes fun of "fighting against windmills." But I say, if the issue is important enough, pound away at those windmills. Eventually, they may break.

Remember what Dale Carnegie once said:

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.

When two share a responsibility, there is at most 1 percent [of it] to each.
Does that remind anyone of modern democracy?

Reason for Optimism

Today is the 94th anniversary of the passing of Charles, Emperor of Austria, King of Hungary. It is a time for reflection upon the fact that as each year passes, the prospects of a restoration grow dimmer – if it even is possible for them to grow dimmer from what they are now.

We see also now prospects of changes in the Great Republic occurring before our very eyes. The establishment duo-partocracy – or mono-partocracy with two wings if you will – is coming in for a crash.

The people will be able to free themselves from the structures of the Wilsonian world order. A new order will rise.

There is no need anymore to promote an even older order.
