God rest his soul. I treasure a holy card of Blessed Karl kindly sent to me by Archduke Otto shortly after the beatification ceremony at the Vatican.
It seems a strange coincidence that a year later on the very date, Adolf Hitler began the imprisonment during which he wrote Mein Kampf. Had Karl or Otto as Kaiser been able to oppose Hitler directly, we would live in a better world today.
