Anomaly UK here — Note the “Maria Vladimirovna is Empress” quote you attribute to me is actually Arthur Harrison’s (I was quoting him, my own position is more equivocal). More discussion followed at his blog.

Now why did I not see that? Probably because there was no indent or something else marking it clearly as a quote. Sometimes things go a bit quickly.
