Two decades ago today, His Majesty King Olav V, whose subject yours truly was born, passed from this world.
We lit candles on Palace Square, whilst His Late Majesty lied in state at the palace.
On that very same day, His Majesty King Harald V ascended the throne and assumed the government. Four days later, the constitutional oath was delivered:
