I was reminded this afternoon about the French election. Until then I hadn't given it a thought. I actually do not care much about which wing of the Jacobin Party comes out as the victor.

My thoughts exactly. I can't see how it makes any difference whether Sarkozy or Segolene (I refuse to call her by her last name, of which she is unworthy) wins.
